Freshman year can be overwhelming for most kids in that they are away from home for the first time, surrounded by all new people and expected to manage their schedules and homework in the middle of this chaos. We did not want our so to become one of the many kids who flunked out of college their freshman year, because they lack disciple and have not figured out how to balance their workload, so we hired Peyton to help him navigate these new and uncertain waters.

Peyton was a real pro! Day one she jumped in to get a solid understanding of our son's personality, strengths and weaknesses, and quickly crafted a plan to help him through day to day life at college. Weekly check-ins, and on-going coaching helped to ensure that my son not only succeeded his freshman year, but was able to make the Dean’s List (which was a huge surprise given that he was a C student in high school)!

Best of all, Peyton became his friend was someone he could turn to at any time if he had a question or concern. She helped arm him with the critical study skills that are necessary to succeed in college, and still remains his mentor today. I would highly recommend Peyton Davis! "

"Transitioning from High School to college is easier for some and hard for others. For me, I found it very difficult. All of my accomplishments, clubs, and friends weren’t coming with me. Instead, I had to make a new name for myself, and balance living in a new state and adapt to a new lifestyle away from the comfort of my family and home. Each week, Peyton would help me plan out my workload and how to study the material in a smart effective way. She introduced me to different study habits that were unique to my learning style. Peyton quickly became a life coach and mentor, helping me in many different areas of my life whether it be socially, academically, or professionally.

After just a couple of meetings with Peyton, I found I was becoming more motivated, with increased confidence, and my GPA was the highest it had ever been. While working with Peyton she helped me evaluate my strengths and weaknesses. She pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and to try new things.

One program she introduced me to was the Student Justices. This position is one of the highest honors a student may receive on the campus of High Point University. Without Peyton, I wouldn’t be in this role. She helped me through the application, and interview process, and continues to check in on me always offering help with a smile!
